एप्पल टी॰वी॰ का अनावरण १६ सितम्बर २००६ को स्टीव जॉब्स द्वारा सैन फ्रांसिस्को में "आई टी॰वी॰" के रूप में किया गया था।[1][2] इसकी बिक्री २१ मार्च २००७ को शुरू हुई।[3]
