धनुष मिसाइल स्वदेशी तकनीक से निर्मित पृथ्वी प्रक्षेपास्त्र का नौसैनिक संस्करण है। ^[1] यह 8.56 मीटर लंबा है। यह प्रक्षेपास्त्र परमाणु हथियारों को ले जाने की क्षमता रखता है। यह एक समय में 750 किलोग्राम मुखास्त्र तक ले जा सकता है और हल्के मुखास्त्रों के साथ 500 किलोमीटर तक मार कर सकता है। प्रक्षेपण के समय इसका वजन ४६०० किलोग्राम होता है और इसे पारंपरिक तथा परमाणु दोनो तरह के हथियारों का प्रक्षेपण किया जा सकता है। यह एक-चरणीय-द्रव-प्रणोदक-कल (single stage liquid propellant engine) का प्रयोग करता है।
