बाताम (अंग्रेज़ी: Batam, जावी: باتام) दक्षिणपूर्व एशिया के इण्डोनेशिया देश का एक द्वीप है। यह सुमात्रा द्वीप के पास रियाउ द्वीपसमूह प्रांत के क्षेत्र में स्थित है। यह इण्डोनेशिया-सिंगापुर-मलेशिया मुक्त व्यापार क्षेत्र का भाग होने के कारण विकसित और धनवान हो गया है। बाताम अपने पड़ोसी बिंतान द्वीप से पश्चिम में अवस्थित है।[1] बाताम रिआउ द्वीपसमूह का सबसे बड़ा शहर भी है और मेदान और पालेमबांग के बाद सुमात्रा में तीसरा सबसे अधिक आबादी वाला शहर है। बाताम के महानगरीय विस्तार में कई बिखरे द्वीप और टापू आते हैं। यह पड़ोस के गालांग और रेम्पांग द्वीपों से पुल द्वारा जुड़ा हुआ है लेकिन इन द्वीपों पर बाताम के विपरीत ग्रामीण वातावरण व अर्थव्यवस्था है।[2]
