माम्बा (Mamba) तीव्रता से हिलने-चलने वाले विषैले सर्पों का एक जीववैज्ञानिक वंश है जिसमें अफ़्रीका में रहने वाली चार जीववैज्ञानिक जातियाँ शामिल हैं। यह साँप बहुत ही ज़हरीले होते हैं और काले माम्बा को छोड़कर अन्य तीन अक्सर पेड़ो पर पाये जाते हैं। सभी दिन के समय अग्रसर रहते हैं और चूहों, पक्षियों, छिपकलियों को अपना ग्रास बनाते हैं। अफ़्रीका में इन सर्पों से सावधानी बर्तने की सीख दी जाती है क्योंकि यह बहुत ही शीघ्रता से उत्तेजित हो जाते हैं और फिर अत्यंत तेज़ी से वार भी कर सकते हैं। फिर भी वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि माम्बा जब भी सम्भव हो मनुष्यों से भिड़ने की बजाय भाग निकलने की कोशिश करते हैं।[2] औपचारिक रूप से माम्बाओं के जीववैज्ञानिक वंश को डेन्ड्रोऐस्पिस (Dendroaspis) कहते हैं।
