नांदेड़ एक्सप्रेस आग २८ दिसम्बर २०१३ को घटित घटना है जिसमें बैंगलोर-नांदेड़ एक्सप्रेस की एक बोगी में आग लग गई। रेलगाडी के एक डिब्बे में आग लगी जिसमें ७२ यात्री थे। रेलगाडी २७ दिसम्बर रात १०:४५ बजे बेंगलूरू से निकली थी। डिब्बे में आग २८ दिसम्बर २०१३ को तड़के भारतीय समयानुसार सुबह ०३:३० बजे अनंतपूरम जिले में लगी।

लगभग स्थानीय समयानुसार सुबह ०३:२० बजे जब रेलगाडी सत्यसाईं बेंगलुरु मंडल के प्रशांति निलयम रेलवे स्टेशन से धर्मावरम की ओर दो किलोमीटर आगे थी उसी समय आग लग गयी।[1] रेलगाडी के द्वितीय वातानुकुलित डिब्बे में तब आग लगी जब वह कर्नाटक की राजधानी बेंगलूरू से नांदेद जा रही थी।[2]



जानमाल का नुकसान


डिब्बे में कुल ७२ सीटें थी और सभी पर यात्री थे। डिब्बे में आग लगने से २ बच्चों सहित २६ लोगों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई[3][4][5][6] जबकि १५ लोग घायल हो गये।[7][8][9]



राहत कार्य


रेलमंत्री मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने मारे गए व्यक्तियों के आश्रितों को ५ लाख रुपये की अनुग्रह राशि देने की घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि घायलों की चिकित्सा का पूरा खर्च रेलवे वहन करेगी।[7][10]
