चम्पत राय जैन (१८६७-१९४२) २०वीं सदी के एक प्रभावशाली जैन लेखक और तुलनात्मक धर्म के विद्वान थे। उन्होने कई यूरोपी देशों का दौरा किया और जैन धर्म और तुलनात्मक धर्म पर भाषण दिए। इन्हें भारत धर्म मंडल ने "विद्या वरिधि", की सम्मानजनक उपाधि प्रदान की।

जीवन


चम्पत राय जैन का जन्म ६ अगस्त १८६७ को दिल्ली में हुआ था। [1] १३ वर्ष की आयु में उनका विवाह तय कर दिया गया था।[1] १९८२ में वह बैरिस्टर की पढ़ाई करने इंग्लैंड चले गए।[2] २ जून, १९४२ को इनका निधन हो गया था। वह एक सक्षम बैरिस्टर-एट-लॉ, प्रभावी वक्ता, प्रभावशाली लेखक और महान सुधारवादी और दार्शनिक थे। [3][4][5][6]
