सानंद गुजरात राज्य के अहमदाबाद जिले में एक शहर और नगर पालिका है। यह गुजरात के ऑटोमोबाइल केंद्र के रूप में जाना जाता है। सानंद वाघेला वंश द्वारा शासित एक छोटा सा रियासत राज्य था। सानंद के महाराज जयवंत सिंह वाघेला एक संगीत विजेता थे। १९४६ में, [1] उन्होंने पंडित जसराज को आमंत्रित किया था।[2][3]
