यॉर्क की, राजकुमारी बियैट्रिस, (पूरा नाम:बियैट्रिस एलिज़ाबेथ मैरी) ब्रिटिश राजपरिवार की एक सदस्य है। वो राजकुमार एंड्रू, यॉर्क के ड्यूक और सारा, यॉर्क की डचेस के ज्येष्ठ पुत्री है। वह रानी एलिज़ाबेथ द्वि॰ की पौत्री है, और ब्रिटिश सिंघासन के अनुक्रम में सातवें स्थान पर हैं, तथा दूसरी महिला हैं। वह अपनी माता-पिता की पहली संतान हैं।

जीवन


बियैट्रिस का जन्म ८ अगस्त १९८८ को पोर्टलैंड अस्पताल, लंदन में हुआ था।[2] उनकी पर्वरिश इंग्लैंडमें हुई है। उन्होंने अपनी प्राथमिक शिक्षा विंड्सर, बर्कशायर के उपटाउन हाउस स्कूल और तत्पश्चात् एस्कोट के जॉर्जेज़ स्कूल से प्राथमीक और माध्यमिक शिक्षा प्राप्त की है। तत्पश्चात् उनहोंने लंदन के गोल्डसमिथ्स कॉलेज से इतिहास में कला स्नातक की पढाई पूरी की है।[3][4] हालाँकि वे शाही परिवार की सक्रिय सदस्य नहीं है, परंतु अक्सर नियमित रूप से उन्हें कई शाही कार्यक्रमों और समारोहों में शरीक होते देखा जा सकता है। इसके अलावा वे अनेक दानकार्यों और चैरिटेबल संस्थानों की सेवा में शामिल होती हैं। ईनमें, एड्स पीड़ितों, संकट की स्थिति में फंसें माओं और बच्चों की मदद से संबंधित कार्य शामिल हैं[5]। उनहोंने अप्रैल २०१० में दान के लिये धन जुगाड़ने के लिए एक मैराथन दौड़ में हिस्सा लिया था, जिसे विभिन्न चरिटीयों को लाब पोहोंचाने के लिए उपयोग किया गया।[6] जुलाई २०१६ तक, वर्जिन गैलेक्टिक के बिज़नसमैन, डेविड क्लार्क के साथ उनका एक लंबा निजी रिश्ता था।[7][8][9][10]


राजकुमारी बियैट्रिस, राजपरिवार की, आधिकारिक तौर पर एक "कार्यशील" सदस्य नहीं है, अतः उन्हें शाही भत्ते से कोई अनुदान नहीं मुहैया कराई जाती है। और उनके निजी कार्यों को कोर्ट सर्क्युलर में रिपोर्ट नहीं किया जाता है। बहरहाल, वे शाही परिवार द्वारा प्रस्तुत अनेक कार्यक्रमों में शामिल रहती हैं। साथ ही कई सरकारी और राजकीय समारोहों में भी उनकी उपस्थिति रहती है।
