शिमर इब्न जिल्जुशन या शिमर (अरबी: شمر بن ذي الجوشن الضبابي الهوازني) बानू किलाब जनजाति से जिल्जुशन का पुत्र था, जो अरब के हौजिनिनी क़सीद जनजातियों में से एक था। हज़रत अब्बास इब्न अली की मां उम्म उल-बानिन भी बनू किलाब जनजाति से थीं। इस्लाम में शिमर की एक अत्यचारी प्रतिष्ठा है। वह याजीद प्रथम के प्रति निष्ठा का भुगतान करने और इब्न ज़ियाद की उमाय्याद सेना में शामिल होने से पहले खारीज नेता था। वह उस व्यक्ति के रूप में जाना जाता है जिसने कर्बला की लड़ाई में इस्लामी पैगंबर हज़रत मुहम्मद सहाब के नवासे हज़रत हुसैन इब्न अली की हत्या कर दी थी।[1][2][3]



मौत


शिया परम्पराओं से संबंधित है कि शिमर को अंततः हज़रत अल-मुख्तार ताकाफी के सैनिकों ने मार डाला था, जिन्होंने हज़रत हुसैन और उनके परिवार के हत्यारों पर बदला लेने की कामना की थी।[4] शिमर शरीर के टुकड़े टुकड़े कर दिया थे और जंगली कुत्तों द्वारा नुचबाया गया था।[5]
